Ok it's been a while... in the last little while we have: Found the church, Lost the power in our house, got the power back on, and started school (im taking drama!!)!
Finding the church: no this last sunday but the one before, we spent the whole 3 hours looking for the church... it was pretty fun our only problem was that we never found it... this last sunday we got a faulty address, we found that place. When we got home we found out that we had the wrong address and then found out that they had a meeting starting at 4 in the afternoon! We made it to that meeting where in all of our classes we had missionaries translating for us! woo! After the meetings were finished we found out about seminary. I can either go early morning tuesday through friday and have to be ready for school at 5:30:( or i can go on tuesday and thursday night, the only problem is what happens when we find a gym? i cant skip gym for seminary... so were going "to cross that bridge when we get there" blah.blah.blah.
The power situation: we went out for church and when we got home there was no power and it was dark so looking for a fuse box was extremely hard! after a full 12 hours and finaly getting ahold of the office at El Oaisis a lady named sara came into the kitchen and fliped a switch- boom the power was on. Right there the whole time... boy did we feel stupid. lol.
School: well its school, gross cafiteria food, and annoying preverted classmates... i did start drama this year! i LOVE it! i had such a blast on our double period class day!!! i never thought i would like it but its a small class of about 15 and its so fun! The teacher wants us to put on a musical this year, im not so sure how i feel about singing in front of the whole school yet, but we'll see how it goes:)

yestreday we took a small tour of the city around our hotel!
our first stop was to this little meat market- they do the slaughtering on the spot so it smells... like... dinner.. you could say. I learned how popular english is, learning spanish is going to be harder than i thought. ugh. they even play english music in the stores! so its not much different except i cant understand what the food infront of my face is and America has much different health code rules.
Our next stop was a outdoor mall type thing, we were told on the weekends it gets insane there. i guess parents let their kids run wild there and dont really care as long as their smoking and having a good time.
The last stop was another big shopping plaza, inside was your version of walmart and ikea mixed into one, and instead of forever 21- k2. there was a spanish version of home depot, and basically everything else. Driving through the parking lot we learned how the spanish drive! HOLY COW!! Speed seems like the only law!
Anyway while we were driving through the parking lot we also found out they had suiage under the ground, it must not have been that far under- it was SSSOOOOO GROSS!!! i thought for a minute my head had been shoved strait down a dirty toliet

Home
16 hours of my life were spent on 4 different planes, and inbetween that were hours and hours of what you call layovers.... man sleeping in burger king in a Sweden airport is the best! lol
our first flight was on a little tiny plane from monterey all the way to denver! i sat next to some random guy, he was pretty nice- and he was reading another religons version of the ensign...
on the second plane we went to DC--> i sat next to tori! and we watched disney channel on the little tiny tv on the back of the seats infront of us:) good stuff, except they played through twice and when you leaned foward you could see Sth watching the it over and over. why would you do that to yourself?
after that flight our next one was already boarding so right before a nine hour ride there was no airport time:( this flight tori paige and i sat together- it was super fun except i could NOT sleep.. i had paige's feet where my head was suposed to go, good stuff. and somewhere on that flight we lost a day? my brain got really messed up... something with flying through different time zones, thats all i remember.
the next 5 hours were spent in layover time- we went to burger king and let poor barking meg out of the cramped kennel, after learning about how getting condements in a eroupe costs extra money- tori decided to squirt her self down with some good old catsup!
after taking a good old rest in burger king we got on the last plane ride into Valencia!!!
it was great tori and i sat together with some lady with a odd eroupean hair cut, they gave out some really good chocolate according to toir while i was asleep- the one time i was sleeping they give out the good stuff:( so not cool
and thats the story, were here in a little hotel housey thingy! yay! ill get pictures when i can
